Free Curve Friday

Hi sweeties! So I have a sweet new curve for you! *no pun intended* ;)

Hope everyone had a great week! And everybody's holiday planning is going well. I love the Christmas season. It's grand. Love everything about it...except for the fact that SoCal doesn't not have any seasonal weather :/. Wouldn't it be awesome if it snowed in L.A?! That would be sweet. I went to the Biola Christmas tree lighting and there was fake snow...so that can count I guess :).

You guys! Christmas is coming up! It always sneaks up so fast, doesn't it?! Before I know it, Christmas will be here and I'll have nothing ready. So this year, I'm being organized and trying to get my shopping done early. My sisters and mom are so easy to buy for... it's my boyfriend and dad who are the problem. Does anyone agree that shopping for guys is hard?! Ugh. Anyways, here is a little holiday shopping inspiration for you for your girl friends/sisters/mom/ect. Western Modernized

So as we all know, cowboy boots are totally in. Western looks are in! Now I'm not talking about wranglers and high-waisted jeans, I'm talking about wearing cowboy boots with a feminine dress paired with southwestern jewelry. Mix it up! Like I did here :). Hope this outfit post inspires you to mix up your wardrobe, take risks, and develop your own personal style! 

When I was home for Thanksgiving, I raided my mom's closet to create this look! Of course, the best stuff and accessories are at home because mom's actually have money to buy all these nice things! My favorite piece of this whole look is the squash blossom necklace...a piece I'll probably never own. So a "real" squash blossom goes for around $2,500. My mom got it from her grandmother... so precious. But the boots rival the necklace...it's a close call. I love these boots from Old Gringo! I love wearing cowboy boots with dresses. So fun. Plus I feel a little connected to T-Swift since she wears Old Gringo's too ;). 

Hope everyone has a great week. I know mine is super duper busy with finals approaching but all I want to do is watch Glee and eat ice cream :(... particularly Ben & Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch.
