 Happy Thursday friends. Spring is here! And there is some love brewing in this spring time air. I have a confession to make, I have a crush...well multiple crushes I suppose. Shh don't tell Brennan. But I just can't help it, come spring time, there are so many cuties out there. I want them all. Let me introduce you to them.

 

I'm lovin' the ankle booties (spring must have) and the one-strapped sandals. Those things are everywhere! Even Target is selling them. I love how classy they are. You can wear them with anything. I just bought a pair from Cathy Jean for $75. So if these are over your budget, try Target, Cathy Jean, or Zara. Zara has some for $49!

Now everyone knows that crushes are wonderful, but not when your in love. Love trumps all. And so do these fabulous shoes. But a girl can dream.

Free People March '13

 So by now this is old news, but these photos from Free People's March catalog are too drop dead gorgeous not to share. Every month when I get my FP catalog I am amazed...but I don't know why. They deliver every single time. I love the fun colors this month. And I love their hair chalk! So fun. I think I'll try some soon. Ugh and the photos in the flowers?! I mean...can't get much better than that. So wonderful. So inspiring. These are just some of my favorite looks from the catalog. Enjoy browsing ladies :) 

And Free People hair is simply wonderful. I'm lovin' the chunky side braid. I'm feeling doing a tutorial on this soon! Who wants it?? :)

I've been inspired by all the pinstriping going on so I put my only pair of mildly pinstrip jeans on today, pairing them with this spring colored top from Free People. Super fun prints and great for spring! I also just got these great sunnies from Anthro...they're my new favs! I love them cause they go with anything...I often times get sunnies that are brightly colored or some fun shape, but its always nice to have that one classic pair.

Eatin' Banana Pancakes

 Happy Friday! It's another rainy day here in Southern California...and while I'm the millionth blogger to comment on the weather, I must say it is a perfect day to cuddle up, turn on Gossip Girl, and eat some scrumptious banana pancakes. If you don't know much about me, here, I'll give you a fun fact. I eat pancakes everyday. Everyday, Emily?! Why, yes, yes I do :). I have a chocolate version to these pancakes that are just as yummy...but I like to switch them up once in awhile.

I'm gluten intolerant...haven't eaten any gluten since I've been 11. So if you need any help or suggestions on how to eat gluten-free, I'm your girl :). Since eating gluten free eliminates lots of carbs, its easier for me to stay on a low carb diet. I feel my best when I'm not eating many carbs. So I've made this pancake recipe that has only a couple carbs in the whole batch! They are super healthy, full of healthy fats and protein. That's why I can eat them everyday...but the main reason why I do eat them everyday is because they are just so darn good and they completely satisfy my sweet tooth!...well...almost always ;). Sometimes I just gotta eat that cookie dough. So without any further adieu, here's the recipe :)!

 

 Pancake Ingredients:

1/3 cup lowfat cottage cheese

2 eggs 

1 teaspoon vanilla

pinch of salt

3-4 tablespoons stevia baking sweetener

1 Heaping Scoop Isopure Zero Carb Banana and Cream protein powder

Whipped Topping (optional): 

3 tablespoons Fage yogurt

Stevia packet

Walnuts

**Waldens Pancake Syrup**<----this syrup is amazing! I suggest try it. Zero carb. Zero sugar. GF.

1. combine the wet ingredients first, then add your stevia and protein powder. Mix real good then cook those suckers up in a skillet! 

2. Mix the whipped topping in a bowl and place on top for a yummy tart taste!

3. Drizzle the syrup over them and eat up!

Efoxcity

Hi everyone! I'm writing this quick little post about this great site called, Efoxcity. They are an online company that sells at china wholesale price...which means everything is quite affordable! I mean they are selling things starting at $3.99! You can buy wedding dresses online, fashionable clothing, jewelry, and they even offer cheap oscar dresses...which could be perfect for prom or any school dances that you high schoolers have coming up :). For us grown ups, we don't have fun things like that anymore ;). It's always been my dream to go to a ball (I guess prom was the closest thing). I mean how fun would that be right?! When Brennan asks what I'd like to do for our weekly date, sometimes I answer that I want to attend a ball :). He laughs. He says there are no such things like that in real life...I mean of course if you live in the world of Gossip Girl or if you're Cinderella...and last time I checked, I was none of these things. Bummer. Does anyone else share this desire, or is it just me? 

Okay sorry for that ramble. Back to Efoxcity. They are constantly adding new product and provide over 10,000 styles...which is a bit overwhelming to think of but its fun to browse through it!
