This is my family. And this is the ranch. This lifestyle is slowing fading away, but it is still my everyday reality. I mark the fourth generation in my family to run cattle on the Goswick Ranch. My family still lives in the old rock house my great-great grandfather built with his father in the 1950's. I am so proud of where I come from and what I stand for: honesty and hard work. That is my family's legacy.
These are all scanned black and white images. That is why they have the filmy look. Then edited in photoshop. Hope you like them :). (Pictured are: my grandmother, my sisters, and my dad)

Figure Study Black and White
These photos are taken with my film camera and developed in the good ol' darkroom. Gotta love going back to the original developing process for some shoots. This is one of my personal projects. I wanted to focus on the forms that the body make. I think doing this in film made it 10 times better than it would have been as digital! Hope you like :)

The Lipstick Queens
Color...I love it! I have been wanting to do a shoot with crazy lipstick for a long time. I had great models to help, and I was happy with how it came out. It was also great to experiment with lighting techniques; I used hot lights. The lights are something I don't use too often, I usually just use natural light, so it was great to figure it out.

Natalie and Tom
Natalie and Tom. Two friends with such great style! These photos were a part of my 'tent' series where I had to create a different setting/outdoor tent every day. They were my last day and for today, I wanted to create something vintage and hipster mixed with pops of color. These two were the perfect models and came to the shoot perfectly dressed and styled! They were so fun and such a joy to photograph. They had so much fun together and they gave me so many great shots to work with!
